You know what a tangelo is, right? It's that "big" tangerine-like fruit with the little knob on the end.
Well, Michael (my son) and I have this joke that he can juggle - one tangelo.
Each time I buy them, I think of him throwing that lone citrus fruit in the air with one hand and catching it with the other, over and over, all the while mocking and acting out the whole major juggling thing, and I roar out loud. He is such a clown, so to speak.
I speak of tangelo today because I LOVE the color. It has the most perfect orangey hue...with just that right touch of yellow to give it that cheerful glow.
Even if you're not a big "orange" fan, pops of this color in a room excite the eye and energize the atmosphere. Try mixing it with blues and turquoises - they're complimentary colors that work with each other with a smooth balance of warm and cool tones. Think of white & tangerine beach chairs against a backdrop of azure seas....yummy!
